Joy of Cooking Gift Ideas

The Joy of Cooking was and continues to be quite possibly one of the most important and influential books of the twentieth century. It is certainly that in the cookbook world.

It would be of no surprise then to discover that fans can celebrate the iconic cookbook, originally written by Irma Rombauer in 1936, by wearing an apron, carrying a tote bag and even by using a kitchen towel.

I think any of these items would be a great gift idea for someone who has long treasured their copy of the Joy of Cooking. A copy of the new version of the Joy of Cooking cookbook combined with any or all of these items would also make a fantastic gift idea for someone setting up home for the first time or maybe even for someone who is looking to update their original copy of the book.

What about you? Do you use the Joy of Cooking? Would you like to own this apron?

See you in the kitchen!

Wizard of Oz Apron

Putting on an apron for Halloween is my idea of the ultimate easy Halloween costume, especially for a busy mom or dad. An apron is not only easy but also an affordable and practical choice, since you will be able to use it all year long.

Isn't this Wizard of Oz and Toto themed apron absolutely precious? What fan could resist!?! Just take it out and pop it on! Of course, you could always add to it with a pair of ruby red shoes...

And of course, if Dorothy Gale isn't your choice of movie character you might like the Wonder Woman, Darth Vader, KISS and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle apron choices.

See you
in the kitchen!

Turkey Thanksgiving Apron

What do 'Gobble 'Til You Wobble,' 'Don't You Wish Your Turkey Was Hot Like Me' and 'Real Men Fry Turkeys' have in common?

Why, they're all available on Thanksgiving aprons, of course! Perfect for the foodie in your life, these aprons sport bright fall colors, patterns and themes. Of course, if you are looking for an apron that is more reserved or even more formal, there is an apron in that style for you, too.
